Bullion business activities were first regulated under Law of the Republic of Indonesia

Number 4 of 2023 on The Development And Strengthening Of The Financial Sector (“Law

No. 4/2023”). Pursuant to Article 132 Law No. 4/2023, the Financial Services Authority

of the Republic of Indonesia (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Republik Indonesia - “OJK”) is

mandated to regulate its implementation regulation. In compliance with this mandate,

OJK has issued the OJK Regulation Number 17 of 2024 on The Organization of Bullion

Business Activity (“POJK No. 17/2024”).
