The Government of the Republic of Indonesia with the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, had done the second amendment to Law Number 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (“Law No. 11/2008”) as promulgate Law Number 1 of 2024 on the Second Amendment on Law Number 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (“Law No. 1/2024”) on January 2, 2024.


This Legal Insight discusses the refinement of norms and complement materials in some articles in Law No. 1/2024, specifically on Electronic Information and/or Electronic Document (“E-ID”) as electronic evidence and international electronic contract as well as electronic certification.
